Unroasted, Fair Trade, Organic

Tasting Notes
This specialty coffee is our most unique single origin because it is grown in a region of Uganda that is very close to the Kenyan border, yet it tastes nothing like a Kenyan coffee. This coffee will delight you with hints of dried plum, lemon-lime acidity and chocolate.

About The Sipi Falls Coffee Project
We are currently developing a direct trade relationship with farming groups in the Bugisu region near Sipi Falls. The small family farms are at a wide range of altitudes from 4,900 - 8,200 feet. Farmers deliver their fresh cherry to a centralized wet mill. The local Farmers Training Center provides training to local farmers on coffee handling best practices. Our Sipi Falls Uganda coffee is Rainforest Alliance and UTZ (fair trade) certified to ensure a better future for the wonderful farmers who grow this coffee.

Our Mission
Casita Coffee Roasters exists to establish economic justice in the world by treating our customers, partners and suppliers with the dignity and respect they deserve. We focus on sourcing coffees that are grown organically, and all our coffees are always freshly roasted, fairly-traded and use specialty grade coffee beans.
